Our Culture

When we hire people we look to hire good people. We look to have people who are open to collaboration and whom we can learn from. Our growth has come from our staff suggestions or something they heard or researched and passed along to take us to the next step.

The staff at BeforeTheMovie® is like a large family. Many do things outside of work together. We close our office one day a year to give back to our community. We participate in a local charity golf tournament. Most of our staff volunteer at the event. There are some who participate in the golf tournament and they are now bringing various family members. It’s a day we look forward to each year!

As BeforeTheMovie® has grown it has been wonderful to watch staff members get married, have children and purchase homes. We look forward to seeing our staff grow and achieving personal milestones!

Corey grew up in a theater owner's family. In his early years he owned and operated a few theaters. He left the business for over 25 years and ventured into the automotive industry. He became an executive level manager within several companies including software and banking. In 2004 he got the bug to go back to the family business. He went back as the vice president of his family's company. While there, as one of his many duties, he handled the local ad sales to the various locations within their company. Realizing his father was not going to retire, Corey could see that the advertising could be a great business. He ventured off on his own and founded BeforeTheMovie®. He was fortunate enough to have his family's circuit as his first client and from there he grew the business to where it is today.

Prior to joining BeforeTheMovie®, Keyo spent 25 years in finance and software sales. She worked for companies such as Wells Fargo AFI and Dealertrack Technologies (NASDAQ: TRAK), where her focus was on B2B software sales and marketing the companies software solutions. She has written and developed most of the processes instituted at BeforeTheMovie®.

Her whole focus is to build a strong team that focuses on maintaining a high level of communication and superior service for our clients.

Office Manager/Human Resources

Prior to joining BeforeTheMovie®, Amber worked in the medical and billing field while attending school. Amber has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Human Resources. Amber utilizes her organization skills and her strong customer service record to assist in the day-to-day operations of Before the Movie. Amber works diligently with her team to ensure that all the national and local ad processes run smoothly, and all the BeforeTheMovie® clients have a great experience while the creative team develops a perfectly customized ad.

The Tocchini family opens the first movie theater in 1924 before sound was introduced in 1927.

2008

In 2008 Corey Tocchini founded BeforeTheMovie®; coming back to the family business after a number of years in software and banking.

Corey and Keyo

2009

When he signed his second client to do ad sales in 2009, his wife Keyo Tocchini joined him. Between the two they were doing all aspects of sales, collecting ad materials and working with clients.
